Digging through the archives, I found a photo made this past summer that never got posted. We eat a lot of watermelon in this house when it's in season. We're working on a mini watermelon right now, but it's nothing compared to the splendor of the seven or eight the two of us ate this summer.

One Fine Slice
Who would've thought the two of us (with some help from Kiwi) could consume a 25lb watermelon? This winter we will be fondly recalling this perfectly juicy, crisp and sweet fruit.

Watermellon Bowl of Blueberries
I would appreciate your thoughts on which of the two you like better, be it composition, processing or focus.
Unfortunately, this watermelon was best used as a bowl. It wasn't the best of the season.
